Airbus Netherlands appreciates your interest in its products and services and your visit to our web site. Your privacy is important to us and we want you to feel comfortable visiting our site. The protection of your privacy in the processing of your personal data is an important concern to which we pay special attention during our business processes. Personal data collected during visits to our web site are processed by us according to the General Data Protection Regulation (known in The Netherlands as Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming.

In addition, our Corporate Policy for Personal Data Protection covers also the processing of Customer and Partner Data which is applicable to all Airbus Group companies, including Airbus  Netherlands. The Airbus Netherlands web site may include, however, links to other web sites which are not covered by this privacy statement.

When you visit our web site, our web server automatically records your IP address, the web site from which you visit us, the web pages you actually visit and the date and length of your visit.

Personal data is only stored if directly volunteered by you, for example in the context of a registration, a survey, a competition or in execution of a contract.

You do not have to give us any personal information in order to perform job searches. Nevertheless, if you apply for a job vacancy via our website,  it is required that you provide personal data, including your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.

From these, your identity as an Airbus Netherlands employee, if so, is discernible for the aim of identity proofing.

If you apply for a vacancy via our website, then you will be providing the HR Department with personal data which will be used in accordance with this Statement.

We strongly suggest that your CV should not contain data relating to your (i) racial or ethnic origin (ii) political beliefs (iii) philosophical or religious beliefs (iv) membership of a trade union or political party (v) physical or mental health (vi) sexual life or (vii) the commission of criminal offences or proceedings. If your CV does contain such data, then you agree that we may retain this information and use it in accordance with this Statement.

The information you provide to us in a job application procedure will be stored by us for a period of maximally 4 weeks after the procedure is finished, unless you give us consent to store it for a period of up to maximally a year.

Google Tag Manager is a web tool for analytics, tag management, and cookiebar manager. This script is used for measuring the website to gain insight into its effectiveness and quality. In addition, this script ensures the management of all analytics and tracking cookies, and thus also compliance with legislation. Google does not share anonymous data with third parties. The cookies used for this function are deleted at the end of the session.

Piwik PRO Analytics Suite is used as our website analytics software and consent management tool. The tool collects data about website visitors based on cookies. Metrics like bounce rate, page views, sessions and the like are collected to understand how our website is used. The purpose of data processing is analytics, A/B testing and personalisation, conversion tracking, marketing, and user feedback based on consent. Piwik PRO does not send the data about you to any other sub-processors or third parties and does not use it for its own purposes.

Note: We will transition from the use of Google Tag Manager to Piwik PRO Analytics by 31st March 2023. Google Tag Manager will no longer be used after this period.

Hotjar is used to improve the usability of our website. This cookie also makes it possible to detect errors on the website. Hotjar does not share anonymous data with third parties.

The cookies used for this function are named: ‘_hjl’ and ‘_hjIncludedInSample’ and are set by the domain ‘airbusdefenceandspacenetherlands.nl’. The cookies used for this function are stored for a maximum of one year.

Linkedin Marketing Solutions & Linkedin Ads is used for advertising purposes, more specifically the anonymous measurement of advertising campaigns and the anonymous collection of data. The latter concerns the country/language in combination with the sought product, in order to show relevant advertisements to the customer on LinkedIn in the correct language.  LinkedIn does not sell personal data to third parties. The cookies used for this function will be deleted after a maximum of two years.

The cookies used for this function are named: ‘_ga’ and ‘_gid’ and are set by the domain ‘airbusdefenceandspacenetherlands.nl’. These cookies are persistent cookies, being ‘_ga’ cookies stored for 2 years and ‘_gid’ cookies for 24 hours.

Airbus Netherlands uses all technical and organizational security measures in order to protect the data we have under our control against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are continually enhanced as new technology becomes available.

Airbus Netherlands does not knowingly collect personal data from children without insisting that they seek prior parental consent if required by applicable law. We will only use or disclose personal data about a child to the extent permitted by law, to seek parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations or to protect a child. Upon written request, Airbus Netherlands or its representatives will inform you by letter within the legal timeframes what personal data is stored by us as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation.

If it is established that Airbus Netherlands processes your personal data, Airbus Netherlands or its representatives will provide you with a summary of the personal data being processed, a description of the purposes of the processing, the categories of the data concerned and the recipients or categories of recipients.

Should such data be incorrect, we will, upon written request, correct, supplement, remove or block those data if they are factually incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant in relation to the purpose of the processing. Your request must contain the changes to be made.

If you wish to object to the processing of your personal data, upon written request, we will process your objection in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
